On the Site Identity, I have specified a Site Title and a tagline, but I opted not to show either on the header. On the desktop view, this works perfectly and you don’t see it on the header, but on the mobile view, you see the Site Title superimposed over the header image. There aren’t separate settings for desktop or mobile view, so how do I change this? It worked perfectly fine before the latest theme update in WordPress. Thanks!

Please update the latest version then go customize-> site identity-> and unchecked site identity and tag line. Then your issue will be fixed Now you can set site title font size 0 so create the problem.
